Uptime Beacon is uptime monitoring built to avoid false alarms. A single failed check never raises an alert. A monitor has to fail several checks in a row (three by default), and a second region must see the same failure before anyone is notified. Checks run from five regions on three continents: EU Central, EU North, US East, US West and Asia Pacific.
Your AI assistant can work with it directly. Uptime Beacon runs an MCP server on every plan, including the free one. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients sign in with OAuth, with no API key needed. They can read monitors, incidents and check history, and once you allow changes they can create or pause monitors, acknowledge incidents and start maintenance windows.
It monitors websites, APIs, TCP ports and hosts. Checks can require a status code and a phrase in the response body, and they record DNS, connect, TLS handshake and total time separately. Heartbeat monitors catch cron jobs that stop running. Certificate and domain watches warn before expiry. Alerts go to email, Slack (with acknowledge and close buttons in the message) and HMAC-signed webhooks, routed per monitor. Public status pages are server-rendered HTML with no JavaScript bundle, so they stay up even when the dashboard is down.
The control plane, database and status pages run only in the EU. Probes outside the EU run checks and store nothing.
Pricing is flat per team, not per seat. The free plan covers 5 monitors checked every 5 minutes, with no card required.
Paid plans start at €14.99 a month, excluding VAT. Uptime Beacon is operated by Wealth Beacon OÜ in Estonia.
