What is Uncork?

Uncork installs the Windows version of Steam or Epic on your Mac and runs your Windows games on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer, macOS 14 or later). The app is notarized by Apple.

The core is free, with no account and no time limit: Game Mode for every game, gamepad mode, an on-screen translation of game text, pausing a game, Windows components (.NET, DirectX, fonts) and one-click fixes after a crash.

Uncork Pro (€19 once; open to everyone during early access until 31 January 2027) adds: • the mouse read straight from the device, up to 1000 Hz, instead of the batches macOS hands to apps once per display refresh — the reason aim feels floaty in shooters; • even frame pacing for single-player games; • frame generation (macOS 26); • rewind with ⌘S / ⌘Z (beta); • Assetto Corsa with Content Manager in one click and Logitech G923 force feedback.

Measured on a MacBook Pro 14" with M3 Pro: Counter-Strike 2 at 102–147 fps on Dust II (offline, with bots).

Games with kernel-level anti-cheat (Fortnite, Valorant, FACEIT) do not run.
