Apps similar to TypeIt include Mahou, which is free and open source. Other options are Phonetic Formatter, Type Switch, Punto Switcher and SimpleSwitcher. You can choose from more than 10 Keyboard Layout Switchers like TypeIt for Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and iPad.
K-Switch is a keyboard layout corrector for Windows 10 and 11. It watches what you type and, when a word comes out as gibberish in the current layout, rewrites it in the correct one and leaves the layout on the language it corrected to, so the next word is already right.
Typed ghbdtn instead of привет? Select it, press the hotkey, and it's retyped in the right layout — the system input source switches too, so you can keep typing. Works with any installed layouts, not a hard-coded pair. macOS; Windows port in preview.
