Type Workspace information
What is Type Workspace?
Type is a shared workspace where a team's AI work happens in one place instead of in private chat windows. Teams organize work into Spaces for functions like marketing, sales, support, ops, product, and data — each Space brings together the relevant knowledge, integrations, and skills, and threads and results are visible to the whole team.
Type connects to 1000+ tools (Shopify, Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, GitHub, Linear, Salesforce, HubSpot, Attio, PostgreSQL, Amplitude, and more), with access controlled through OAuth and encrypted API keys that can be revoked at any time. Agents can be mentioned directly in Slack channels and routed by channel. Skills, docs, and sessions can be imported from Claude Code or Codex using the Type CLI, and teams can bring their own AI subscription or draw from a shared pool of usage.
Beyond chat, Type produces collaborative documents and HTML dashboards that can be iterated on with AI, and can create and deploy internal apps securely accessible to the team. Shared memory is searchable by any AI in the workspace, prompts and skills can be shared and discovered across the team, and data can be exported or deleted at any time. Pricing is a flat monthly fee with unlimited human and AI users.
