What is Thursday?

Thursday is a voice assistant you talk to on a live call (OpenAI GPT-Live). Anything that takes more than a few seconds goes to background bots, each on the model you pick (Claude, GPT, Gemini or xAI), working in a real browser and a shell with Agent Skills and MCP servers. You keep talking while they work, you can ask how a job is going, bots ask you in the call when a decision is yours, and jobs keep running after you hang up. Results come back as pages, slide decks or design boards, routines start jobs on a schedule, and what it knows about you is plain notes you can read and edit. You can also message it from your phone over Telegram, Discord or Slack.

It runs on your own computer with your own OpenAI key and installs with one command: npx thursday-agent. MIT licensed. Built on macOS. It is not a sandbox: the bots run commands as you.
