I've been using Techsmith Capture for many years (at least 15) and I've always found it to be excellent. They added video capture and I liked it even more. What I don't like now (hence the rating) is that if I close the app because I've already captured, 5–10 seconds go by, and it reopens for a second use. By that time I've already started working on something else and when it opens, it overlaps what I'm doing and makes a big mess. It has to have an option to close for good or close for a second use (for which it also takes time). If I want to make two cuts in a row, I have to close the app and wait the same 5-10 seconds for it to reopen. In these times of immediacy, those 5-10 seconds are not forgiven. If they could just fix that, it would be excellent. Now I'm looking for an alternative, because it really annoys me.florvd liked TechSmith Capture
