Very simple set-up, suitable for those whose eyes glaze over when presented with more than a few options. - Doesn't seem to support external codecs. - Shoddy support for advanced subtitles (ssa/ass). - Problems playing 10bit color videos while using HW support. - Didn't seem to have any way to adjust hotkeys or mouse actions.
Simple, Modern, adds sparkle to video playback

VLC Media Player and Windows 10 built-in video player. Using the keyboard to go forward and backward on the video is not always functional, though I suspect it can be blamed on the individual videos.

Does not resize properly to aspect ratios other than 4:3 or 16:9. Ultrawide gets scrunched to 16:9. Uninstalled.
From all players on my computer, from VLC to BSplayer. This one plays HD content the smoothest. And definitely has the best interface
