SNOQ information
What is SNOQ?
SNOQ is a privacy-focused, offline-first notes application for Windows designed for users who want full control over their data.
All notes are stored locally on your device and protected with AES-256 encryption, with key derivation using Argon2id. SNOQ does not rely on cloud sync or accounts by default, keeping your data fully offline unless you explicitly export or move it.
The app is built for fast, focused writing with a clean editor supporting rich text formatting, code blocks, lists, headings, and links. It includes multi-tab note management, full-text search across all notes, and category-based organization for structured workflows.
Additional features include PDF export with formatting preserved, encrypted backup archives, and an instant lock function for quick privacy protection.
SNOQ is designed for users who prefer local-first software, strong encryption, and a minimal interface without distractions or cloud dependency.
