- Free and open source, owned by a non profit organization
- Self hosted or free SaaS/online without tracking
- Generates very fast websites
- Generate clean HTML and CSS code
- One click to download the website or deploy to any server or host
- Insert custom js, css, html without limitations
- Generate static web pages or 11ty.dev pages

I was seeking a website builder for a friend, this one looked pretty good and after some tests it could be a successor of KompoZer
I downloaded the latest AppImage version for Linux, launched it and... the whole window was completely white. Launched again - the same result. It was the shortest software test ever conducted.
The offline version is buguy that's true Use the online version if you can

I was looking for something that would make the placement of components much easier and largely automated. It seems that everything has to be manually placed without guides.
Hello! I have a new MacBook with an M1 chip from 2020. Unable to install file. Please give me a link or write how to solve the problem.
Silex is easy to learn. Based on Open Standards. Open source. Integrated to Dropbox, etc. Allows HTML edit. Web based... and no software to be downloaded. Requires NO Coding skills. Anybody can design with Silex...!!!
The entire product website is made in Flash, so it takes like half a minute to load the homepage, and my scrollwheel doesn't even fricking work. Yes, this really makes me want to build a website with your tools.
It is open and free so, you can help make it better I agree with you though, and I helped the team make it full html

I've been using Silex for sometime. I agree that it's a bit slower to load the homepage. But, ONCE LOADED, it's a MAGIC!
And the 'slowness in loading' is something common in all-web-based-design-apps... So, not really a negative thing here.
