What is ShadowCode?

ShadowCode is a free, open-source AI coding agent for the Linux desktop, built in Rust with Tauri and React. Instead of juggling separate apps, you pick any model from one place: your existing Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity or Grok subscription, hundreds of models through OpenRouter, or fully local GGUF models running on llama.cpp or Ollama. It supports MCP servers and is licensed under Apache 2.0.
