Simply said, it's a proxy to read articles from Medium.com to evade Medium.com's commercial 'exploitation' of it's readers.

Future uncertain if Medium.com wisen's up to these shenanigans and makes changes to block Scribe.rip from scraping their website.

Meanwhile, enjoy!

Good in what it does. Although the AlternativeTo.net entry is again, SEO-gamed. This got suggested to me as an alternative to Telegra.ph but it clearly is NOT an alternative in any form or function.

  • You believe more in the author than the platform
  • You don't like the reading experience that Medium provides
  • You object to Medium's extortionist business tactics
  • You're concerned about how Medium uses your data
