ScreenCursor is a screen recorder that runs as a Chrome extension and zooms in on what you click and type while you record. Every click, drag and keystroke inside a web page becomes a zoom that starts just before the action, so the finished video looks edited without any manual editing.
When you stop recording, an editor opens with the zooms already placed. Each zoom can be retimed, made deeper or shallower, aimed at an exact spot, or deleted, and you can add your own, which is also how you zoom into desktop apps. The recording can be trimmed, split and sped up, placed on a wallpaper, gradient or colour background with an optional browser frame, and exported as an MP4 at up to 1080p and 60 fps, in 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 or 9:16, with no watermark.
Recording, editing and export happen locally in the browser. No video is uploaded and no account is needed. It runs wherever desktop Chrome runs, including Windows, macOS and Linux, and it is sold as a one-time purchase that covers three computers.
It does not offer share links, a webcam overlay or captions.
