It captures the original essence of game modding, without the political motivations or personal power trips that dictate the policies of similar sites. It provides a supportive base of operations for modders to expand their art and talents and share their work with an appreciative community of users.
No doubt, hands down, a wonderful site to get free mods and get some help. They even offer scholarships to learn how to mod yourself. Fantastic!!!

Friendly, helpful and thankfully absent of the toxicity you find in the vast majority of modding sites.
I like schaken mods couse it's a helpful place with lots of good modders who don't mind helping when questions is asked, website is easy to navigate, and no pop-up ads on site. Their discord is always hoping with helpful people and always respectful. I am proud to be a member.
At Schaken Mods I recieve the help I need with issues creating mods for Skyrim, from kind and patient people that are willing to help. I may be a small time mod author but at Schaken Mods I am treated with respect and admiration for my work. Check out their Discord and you will see what I mean.
