What once was the go to solution for a free, fast and unbloated web-browsing experience is now advertizing and selling its own services while adding unwanted feature after unwanted feature. Being fast is now dependent on your hardware and internet connection. It's still a good solution, but i had to switch to a fork (Waterfox) in hopes to avoid most of Mozilla's bullshit. What are you up to Mozilla ? What do you stand for ? Nowadays, nothing more than a brand.

Excellent alternative to Google Maps, because, contrary to OpenStreetMap (which it relies on heavily though) it is not just a map and provides loads of functionalities that've become essential to many users. Only problem i see for now is the UI is not the best and i sometimes find myself searching for the right button more i'd like to. But that's to be expected when including so many features. Hopefully this will be worked on in the future !
It's also free and open-source, but i found Kdenlive had a lot more features and was a lot more complex than OpenShot could be. A Windows version is also being worked and, even if it's not perfect right now, it works quite well !
it also features an offline world map in the form of a globe, with many different layers available, with old age maps and such.

Forked from Privacy Redirect to allow for more regulare updates, LibRedirect is currently the best All-in-one solution for url forwarding from popular social media websites towards privacy-friendly frontends. A fantastly BIG chunk of them is covered, and the list of instances is regularly updated so you don't have to worry about instances going offline or being unavailable.
I admitidly had some struggle with the setup, but i believe these issues will soon be resolved - if they haven't been...
