Reticle

Reticle is a free, lightweight, and secure screenshot tool. It allows screen recording within the app, with features like auto-zoom and cursor tracking. It offers instant screen capture, a built-in editor with various tools, and an image pixelator for privacy. Developed with Rust and Tauri, it provides different capture modes, including fullscreen, active window, and custom region capture. The editor supports shadow, rounded corner, background, arrow, and shape additions, along with a blur tool for sensitive information. Reticle is efficient, using less than 1% CPU, and includes a history feature for re-editing past captures. The interface supports dark mode and hotkeys for different functions.
