RecollectViewer is a free Windows desktop app that loads exported chat history from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude into one offline viewer. Browse conversations in a tree, search across all loaded history with advanced filters, and jump straight back to the matching chat — without uploading your data anywhere.

If you use more than one AI service, past conversations are easy to lose. RecollectViewer brings them together so you can find code snippets, prompts, and earlier solutions in seconds.

NEW IN v1.5 — SHARE Share a single exchange (prompt + answer) from the tree — not the whole conversation. Export to the clipboard, a file, or a PNG card. Choose Markdown (for blogs), plain text, or PNG (for X and other social posts). Optional keyword masking redacts names, company names, or other terms you register, in every format. PNG cards can be shortened for timelines or kept as long as practical. Gemini answers support text and PNG (not Markdown), because they are stored as HTML. Typical use cases: • Post one useful Q&A on X or in a blog without the rest of the thread • Hide company or personal names before sharing • Keep a readable image of a solution you want to reuse

Export the current conversation to a text file with one click and hand it off to another generative AI for a different perspective.

Unlike tools that only send a single question to multiple AIs, RecollectViewer can pass the full prior dialogue context to another model for review. The export works with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude history. Because the output is a standard text file, you can attach it in any generative AI that supports file uploads.

HOW TO START

1. Download and extract the ZIP (portable — no installer)
2. Export your chat data from ChatGPT, Gemini, and/or Claude
3. Point RecollectViewer Settings to each export JSON/folder
4. Browse the Tree tab or search across everything
