it has potential, but it doesn't have any features at all.

  • no search feature
  • no save, no export , ... , nothing actually
  • no tags

it's just a simple text editor with side view

Rebel Notes has a very clear user interface, and I like this minimalism. It is a Markdown editor and a note taking app.

The programme is at a very early stage of development (as of February 2021) and there are still some drawbacks:

a) On GNU/Linux, the notes are stored in a hidden directory—why not in a directory of your own choice? b) There is no save button, and Ctrl + s doesn’t work either. c) There is a printer icon in the menu, but when you click on it, nothing happens.

But like I said, the software is in early stage, so I assume these disadvantages will be fixed soon. All in all, this program looks quite promising.
