FAST AND CONVENIENT
We aim to implement a universal yet intuitive reader app that provides all the essential features without compelling users to use any specific services.
YOUR FILES ARE YOURS ONLY
This app does not import documents into its store, allow you to identify duplicates of files, work with bookmarks and save the current reading position even when the file is moved or temporarily deleted.
PRACTICAL SETTINGS
Adaptation of the pages to better fit the screen size. Visual themes: day, night, sepia, console. Single-page mode and vertical-list page mode. Font face and size settings, line spacing, page margins.
ORGANISED DOCUMENTS
Grouping of documents by author and series, sorting by creation time and the last time read. Ability to add documents to the collection: To read, Have read, Favourites.
INTEGRATION INTO THE SYSTEM
Navigating through the file system of the device with automatic filtering and displaying the properties of documents. Ability to open documents from ZIP archives. Ability to open documents at the request of other apps and opening emails attachments.
ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT
ReadEra is actively developing and will receive many improvements and new features this year. We welcome any feedback and suggestions, you can leave them on the app page or write to our email. Tell us what features you want to see the most!
Comments and Reviews
The best feature is that the app doesn't copy the file into the internal memory of your mobile. You can just read any file from an external memory, such as external card or usb device.
Close source, but the best I found yet
Fast and very good free option
Although I use another awesome paid eBook reader app for Android, this one has one unique feature, that helps me to format some books scanned into PDF from double-page view into a single-column view, which is very helpful. And I'm talking about a free version.
ReadEra is closest match to google playbooks but it doesnot have any feature to increase or decrease font size.
Very good UX compared to other book readers. This is now my go-to reader for anything but PDF (Xodo is still unmatched there).
Free, smooth, slick UI, collections, PDF support, continuous scrolling
