What is ClickBook?

ClickBook is an e-reader for language learners. It opens EPUB files and converts PDFs on import. Tapping a word shows a context-specific explanation and example sentences without leaving the page, and saves the word and its source sentence to a vocabulary list.

Its AI model runs locally on iPhone, iPad, and Android after a one-time download, so explanations are available offline. The app does not require an account and has no ads or tracking; books and lookup data remain on the device. Reading options include four fonts, adjustable text size and line spacing, white, sepia, mint, and dark themes, and paged or continuous scrolling. The free version includes three classics.
