- TBayAreaPat reviewed Prio - Process Priority SaverTBIf you find the Elevate feature, you can use it to prevent other software from nagging you for Administrator rights for them run. 11/25/22 However, I am finding that the settings don't always stick for priority, so I am going to look around.

One scenario you want use is for example to set high priority to your browsers and low priority to windows gadgets, forever! It has also other features like giving some application administrative privileges with no confirmation every time they start. With prio we can also see ports used by particular application. All of this within Windows Task Manager

Dzid, I appreciate you telling us about the administrative rights, and I thought Prio solved my ongoing problem with Phrase Express in that regard, but this morning, things weren't working while I was using the Everything search program. I then saw the lil orange triangle about Admin rights, so I checked Task Mananger to see if Silent Elevation was still checked for Phrase Express.. And it was. I do note that the Everything search program causes a permission to make changes request every time I start the computer. I guess I need to give Everything search Admin rights too.
Well, now I have to wonder how effective Prio is or if this was an odd situation.

It's a pity it doesn't work on Windows 8
