Povver is a strength coach for iOS, built for lifters who already log their training and want the log to do something with it.
Every set you log is read. For each lift, Povver works out whether you are progressing, holding or stalling, and what to load next. A load goes up only when five conditions hold, and never by more than the step you already use on that lift. A plateau is three flat weeks on your best set. The reason is on screen with the prescription.
Training volume is counted per muscle. Hard sets are tallied against the volume each muscle needs, using minimum effective, maximum adaptive and maximum recoverable volume, so you can see where you sit against the range in a week. Programs are built to those volume landmarks, with the first deload dated. Tell it about an injury once and it stays out of your program and your swaps.
Povver also runs an MCP server, so Claude or any assistant you use can read and write your own training data: sets, per-lift trends, muscle volume, routines and plans.
Povver is iPhone only and paid: a 14-day free trial that includes everything, then €9.99 a month or €79.99 a year. Pricing varies per region.
