Reliable Long-term Image Hosting Sites That Will Stand the Test of Time
This is a list of reliable image hosts with a good track record and more than a few years under the belt. All image hosts on this list support hotlinking.
Imgur will not be listed here since it's gradually turning worse in its quest to transcend from a mere image host into a social network. For example, direct links to Imgur images redirect to the image post's page on mobile instead of the image itself nowadays so that it can show ads, get visitors to click on trending images in the sidebar, and interact with the community via the comment section of images.

Hi,
I used Imageshack.us for a long time, but it's very basic for me… and later I found Postimg.org and it's really great!
You can create "folders" that contain some images, like a Library, each image have it's BBCode, HTML or direct links, it's pretty usefull for my websites and forums : )
Latelly they have created a little desktop app, this app is used to upload one or more file to your postimg account, the app have the same functions than the website, mainly the image codes for sharing.
The plus is the integration with the mouse ocntext menu, you can upload directly to your account without having to launch the desktop app !
It's true that Postimg.org is not a "social sharing service" for pictures, like flickr, instagram… but it's easy to use and great to host your forums or HTML like pic's !
I had to migrate to another provider, as I was constantly getting Error 503 (Service Unavailable). Now it seems that they have decided to fix the problem, but it is too late for me.
I can't get to this page it seems blocked from Google
simple & easy to use, support upload by url too !
Postimage.org is better than its competitors because:
Pretty much the best simple image hosting site for websites and embedding your images. Can handle bulk uploads and gives you the codes right after.
