I didn't find the current reviews for this application very fair. This software is probably the best and most used PO editor for Windows out there.
I have been using version 3.x without any issues. I find the software clean, easy to understand, and well made. The basic features are free and premium upgrades are offered for enabling translation services.
As I haven't experienced any troubles I can't speak for how good or bad customer care is.
I can't say if I love it or not because I can't even save a document. Maybe its my fault but their support (I think the creator) is horrible. They talk to you like your are dumb and don't try to help you. I can learn and always willing to improve but he talked to me so disrespectfully I don't even want to try to understand what's wrong with my file. You can't make a product and treat people like this. I really hope you don't have issue with the programme because he certainly won't help you solve it!
Very rude support, seeking help and it turns into a blame game and get treated like you know nothing.
Too unprofessional and cannot deal with the aggression in the support replies.

Old school and outdate. Stupid search and sometimes missed strings! Spent half an hour looking for string and realize that Poedit wasn't load all from my .po file. And this happens often! And all this limitations in free version... why?
Happy to find Virtaal: has fuzzy search, faster speed and plugins. No more POedit.
