What is Plausible Analytics?
Plausible Analytics is an open-source, web analytics tool that prioritizes privacy and simplicity. With a lightweight design of less than 1KB, it provides a streamlined alternative to Google Analytics. The software does not employ cookies and is fully compliant with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA and PECR, ensuring user data is handled with utmost care. Developed and hosted within the European Union, Plausible Analytics is an independent, self-funded, and bootstrapped solution.
The platform's design is centered around ease of use, requiring no prior training or extensive experience. The Plausible script is significantly smaller than that of Google Analytics, reducing page weight and contributing to faster site load times. It does not track or collect personal data, ensuring the privacy of site visitors. Users maintain full ownership and control over their traffic data, which is not utilized for any other purposes.
Plausible Analytics simplifies the process of website traffic and site analytics review, providing essential insights on a single page without the need for custom reports or navigating through multiple menus. Users can define key goals and track conversions by setting custom events or page URLs, aiding in trend identification and understanding. Automated email reports can be scheduled on a weekly or monthly basis, providing consistent updates on traffic data. The platform also offers options for data transparency, allowing users to make their stats public or share them privately with clients via a secured shared link.

Comments and Reviews
Honestly perfect for me.
If you want some (admittedly limited) analytics, and you very much don't want to throw cookie banners at users, it does the job very well
It's easy to self-host and work great! It shows me what I want to know without invading the user's privacy!
It's really simple to integrate and use and it's 100% privacy-oriented. It's cheap for the hosted one, but also has self-hosted version.
Yes, it very simple to integrate. But impossible to get your data back. You can download your data only in two columns format "day: unique visitors"
