    Looks sleek but the UI is non-standard and often counter-intuitive.

    The app is weirdly slow at even RENAMING A FILE (3+ seconds while hammering ENTER)

    Drag & drop to folder doesn't work even after explicitly enabling it for all views

    Mousing over an image at the top of the window keeps re-displaying the pop-up

    It's developed on GitLab instead of GitHub, so I couldn't be bothered to sign up and navigate its interface to report these issues.

It clunky to set up nicely (no UI option to turn off OnTop) but once it is, it does its job well. I've been searching for an image viewer, on Windows, that has a minimal UI and can view all file types I throw at it for quite some time, seems I've finally found it.

Highly configurable, a lot of options and still is minimalist when in browsing mode

This is like app. There is needs somethings to fix. Can't zoom in - zoom out by default "+" or "-" or ctrl up down.

What is PhotoQt?

PhotoQt is a fast and simple, good looking, yet powerful and highly configurable image viewer.

It provides an uncluttered interface and can be extensively tweaked to fit ones needs perfectly. It is possible to set key or mouse shortcuts for many of its features and capabilities, as well as for any external script/command.

It supports loading 100+ image formats, video files, and documents. Additionally, it fully supports Google Motion Photos, Apple Live Photos, and photo spheres (including 360 degree panoramas).

The many features provided include: thumbnails, slideshow, color profiles, chromecast, zooming, rotating, flipping, displaying metadata (selection of Exif and IPTC), set-as-wallpaper, simple file management, scaling, face tags (XMP metadata), touchscreen support, and a lot more.
