Implementing KEM in file encryption is an impressive and unique approach. The user interface is simple and smooth, and I thoroughly enjoyed using the application.

To save data from quantum attacks. The best application ever found on the internet. Great work. Atleast I can upload my encrypted vault on the cloud for back and relax, without getting worried.

What is Ombracrypt?

Ombracrypt is a zero-trust, network-isolated desktop application built for local Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) file encryption. It is designed specifically to defend your private files against "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" (HNDL) attacks without ever relying on external infrastructure or cloud services.

As the world's first dedicated PQC-based GUI app for local file encryption, it combines a simple user interface with high-performance execution. It utilizes a Hybrid KEM architecture, marrying standard symmetric ciphers with advanced quantum-safe algorithms.

Core Features:

Clean, Easy-to-Use GUI: Designed for simplicity without compromising on advanced cryptographic security.

A Modern Alternative: Built as a post-quantum alternative to VeraCrypt, TrueCrypt, Picocrypt, and MetaCrypt to combat the rising data privacy threats posed by quantum computing.

Completely Offline: No telemetry, no accounts, and no internet connection required.

Cross-Platform: Native execution on Linux, Windows, and macOS.

Hybrid Architecture: Secures data using a combination of trusted symmetric ciphers and next-generation PQC algorithms.

Anti-Coercion (Panic Passphrase): Mitigates physical duress by allowing users to input a specialized password that instantly and securely erases the PQC key, rendering the vault permanently inaccessible.

Ombracrypt is open-source (AGPL-3.0), fully transparent, and built for users who demand absolute data sovereignty.
