NoScript Alternatives
NoScript is described as 'The NoScript Firefox extension provides extra protection for Firefox, Seamonkey and other mozilla-based browsers: this free, open source add-on allows JavaScript, Java, Flash and other plugins to be executed only by trusted web sites of your choice (e.g. your online bank)' and is a very popular app in the Web Browsers category. There are more than 10 alternatives to NoScript for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac, Firefox and Google Chrome. The best alternative is uMatrix, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like NoScript are ScriptSafe (Free, Open Source), GNU LibreJS (Free, Open Source), RequestPolicy (Free, Open Source) and nuTensor (Free, Open Source).
