Nodl information
What is Nodl?
Nodl is a documentation and change tracking tool for IT systems, visualizing your system on a live canvas rather than wiki pages. It is not a task tracker, but a representation of your system. Unlike Confluence or Notion, Nodl provides a visual representation of your system. Your system is divided into nodes, or functional areas, with changes attached to the relevant node and cross-linked to other affected nodes. The tool is designed for teams to work on the same map.
Nodl includes an AI assistant that interacts with your canvas, answering queries about your system in plain language. You can import a backlog from a CSV or connect Jira directly for a seamless flow of labelled items into Nodl. The AI proposes a structure for nodes and changes, which you can review before accepting.
The tool offers lenses to highlight everything tagged to it, useful for tracking initiatives, compliance reviews, or team-specific work. It also allows for system snapshots when changes are shipped, beneficial for audits, post-mortems, or tracking past changes.
Nodl is designed for software architects, engineering leads, IT managers, and consultants who require a living map of their system. It doesn't replace Jira or Linear, but offers a visual representation of changes to your system, not sprint tickets, showing where a change fits in your system and what else it affects.
