What is NetMagen Vision?

NetMagen Vision is a free Windows Network Video Recorder (NVR) supporting unlimited RTSP/ONVIF IP cameras. It provides continuous local recording, timeline playback, designated zones, and Telegram alerts. It also offers paid features like an iPhone relay and artificial intelligence for facial and license plate recognition.

The software turns existing cameras into a 24/7 recording system on a personal computer. It includes a live grid of all connected cameras and mosaic walls that can be moved onto any monitor. It allows full screen view, label toggling, and audio activation. The color-coded timeline shows motion in blue, sound in red, and speech and detections for easy reference. Users can navigate the timeline, jump to a specific moment, play footage at up to 16× speed, and export clips.

NetMagen Vision lets users sketch a zone on a camera feed and receive a Telegram alert with a snapshot when an object crosses the area. Its local object detection can identify people, vehicles, and animals without needing cloud connectivity. The Scan Network feature finds cameras on your LAN, tests the stream, and adds them with one click. The software also provides license plate and facial recognition, enabling users to monitor specific individuals or vehicles and access the related recordings.
