What is Ividiyo?

Ividiyo is a self-hosted video management system (VMS) for ONVIF and RTSP IP cameras. It can be installed on personal hardware like an Ubuntu 24.04 server or Raspberry Pi 4/5, and managed from a web browser. Video footage is stored on personal disks, with optional cloud account linking for remote access.

Although Ividiyo is not open-source, it offers a free tier supporting up to 10 cameras without a license key. It features ONVIF auto-discovery, low CPU usage recording, and options for continuous or motion-triggered recording. Enterprise users can use multi-server distributed recording with automatic failover.

The software includes AI and analytics features such as object detection, license plate recognition, and face recognition. It can run on an NVIDIA GPU, a Google Coral USB accelerator, or a Hailo-8 AI HAT, with one NVIDIA GPU able to handle over 150 cameras.

Ividiyo also offers features like an alarm manager, PTZ over ONVIF, physical CCTV keyboard support, and Home Assistant integration. Free mobile apps are available for iOS and Android. Licensing does not include per-camera fees, with Free, Home, Professional, and Enterprise options available.
