What is NanoClip?
NanoClip is a fast, minimal Mac clipboard utility that combines clipboard history, snippets, and automation flows in one lightweight menu bar app.
It is built for people who copy and paste all day and want something that stays out of the way. Each tool has its own global hotkey: open your clipboard history, expand a snippet, or run a flow without touching the mouse.
Clipboard history lets you search everything you copied, pin important items, edit content before pasting, queue multiple items, and preview rich content like links, images, files, colors, and code.
Snippets let you type short keywords and expand them into reusable text, templates, signatures, addresses, or messages. Snippets can include dynamic placeholders like clipboard content, date, time, cursor position, and fill-in fields.
Flows are the most powerful part of NanoClip. They let you transform copied text, URLs, images, or files before pasting. You can chain built-in blocks for text cleanup, URL cleanup, QR codes, OCR, image conversion, AI rewriting, translation, summarization, and custom prompts.
NanoClip supports local and cloud AI options. Local AI can run with Apple Intelligence or Ollama, while cloud AI works with bring-your-own-key providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.
NanoClip is native, keyboard-first, syncs across Macs with iCloud, and has no subscription. There is a free version, with NanoClip Pro available as a one-time purchase.
