sourloti added Support for Samba as a feature to MiXplorer
sourloti reviewed MiXplorer
It's the first thing I install on any of my devices. Fantastic app that handles simple tasks and more complicated ones without much trouble. Have tried other file managers but always come back to this one because it covers a large range of functionalities.
sourloti liked MiXplorer
It broke this rule, enough said.
It's a rectangle actually. Another angle is Lightweight. MiXplorer did it too.

There is no alternative to MiXplorer. Yes it happens to be the exception. Sure its not in the play store but MiX is hands down the most robust and well built fm for android devices. I've been using it for years.
can you explain why MiXplorer is better than other explorer in comparison lists?

I've been using Mixplorer for several years but due to the "beta" status there was a period of time that a feature I depended on was a bit buggy. I spent some time testing the alternatives and none were as dynamic and customizable as Mix. Solid Explorer was decent but I wasn't thrilled with it. It's not open source but is free to use, frequently updated, and not tainted by ads or analytics garbage. Also, the modular add-ons make it so that features some people don't use don't have unnecessary things in their way. This is purely opinion but I like to think all the time I've spent learning about android, how it works, and testing apps gives my opinion a little weight. You could also try it yourself. Thank you for asking.

True. It's hard to find apps these days that aren't loaded down with google-ware, analytics, and/or ads. This is truly an exceptional tool. Been using it for several years

best file manager, power users rejoice. while it is mainly free, the play store link is a paid only-to-support gimmick. nothing groundbreaking in that version over other places like the xda or apkmirror. the support forums awesome with lots of guys giving directions.
in fact, id rather suggest downloading from apkmirror as you can download the minimum manager only, and choose which other addons you want.
I think MixPlore is the best app for file manager because I use this app. You can easily connect to the Android device through the MixPlorer app. Any theme can be easily customized through this app. Multimedia video can be easily copied and removed through this app. There are many more benefits including any video short, enable and disable through this app. If you want you can try this app.
FILE MANAGEMENT/DOSYA YÖNETIMI+
WINDOWS: TOTAL COMMANDER
I’ve been using for years to management of my files, copying and moving files in order (Teracopy’s function), syncinc files, backing up my files to external disk in easy and reliable mehtod (for me), with FTP Client i can transfer files with my Android Phone which app that provides FTP server feature and syncing my files over FTP with-out cable, with Wi-fi, batch file – folder renaming… Best in class. May need some settings to take shape of how you want…
FREE ALTERNATIVE: Free Commander. Almost can everything that TC’s handle.
ANDROID: MIXPLORER
A File Manager that includes FTP server feature and a app that handle alomost everything which other apps handle. I meet this app with very late because it was NOT in Google Play. It’s paid but in XDA Developers it’s free as APK. Alternative: Solid Explorer also fine but it i’m in more comfort with MixPlorer.
WINDOWS: TOTAL COMMANDER Senelerdir dosyalarimi düzenlemek, sirali sekilde tasimak – kopyalama isleminin idaresini saglamak (Teracopy’nin özelligi), dosya senkronizasyonu ve yedeklerimi en zahmetsiz ve en sorunsuz sekilde alabilmek harici diske almak, FTP istemcisi sayesinde FTP sunucusu seklindeki Android cihazimi senkronize etmek ve dosya alisverisi yapabilmek Wi-Fi üzerinden, toplu dosya ve klasör isimlendirmek için kullaniyorum. Alaninda bence en iyisi. Programi yükledikten sonra ayarlar menüsünü biraz kurcalamaniz faydaniza olacaktir. Ücretsiz Windows Alternatifi: FreeCommander. Neredeyse tamamen ayni isleri yapabiliyor.
ANDROID: MIXPLORER
Alternatif: Solid Explorer. Ama MixPlorer varken gerekli mi bilmiyorum.
There is a free version of MiXplorer that could installed from the official XDA page: https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/com.mixplorer
Official thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523691
Developer says: "This app has no ads, is and will always remain free."
