I built Mitros to write my own novel, because I was tired of keeping the plot in one program, the maps in another and the characters in a spreadsheet.
The story lives on the Thread: each key moment is a point you connect to the next one, and each point opens the page where you write the scene. Around it sits the world. Character sheets have fields like age, parents and allies, and the family tree draws itself from them. Maps take pins linked to those sheets. The timeline runs on a calendar you invent, with your own months, eras and moons, and it tells you how old everyone is in any scene.
When the book is ready, Mitros exports an ePub or a print-ready PDF.
It works offline and has no account. Your worlds are plain files in a folder you choose, OneDrive and Dropbox included. You can import from Scrivener, Obsidian, Notion and World Anvil. Two people can write the same world from a shared cloud folder.
Free, in English and Italian. The Android app is in preview.
