    Incredible alternative, works very well. It even saves whiteboard as a local file.

    But unfortunately if you like the convenience of auto-saves, or storing the files "inside the app itself" so that next time you can just launch the app & select the thumbnail in a couple of clicks without needing to touch File Explorer (like Miro), you're going to need the Excalidraw+ subscription; which has a pricing that is just overkill for personal/hobbyist use.

    Miro and Microsofts Whiteboard don't play in the same league. At the moment Microsofts Whiteboard is plagued by so many usability problems and bugs that I ditched it after just one meeting. If you want to get something done together, don't use this tool.
