Microsoft Proyect offers the possibility of managing all the activities that make up the project execution process, since it simplifies the administration of projects and portfolios of resources. Integrated planning tools help you keep track of projects, as well as organize them. It is a tool that facilitates decision making in a timely manner because it allows to develop and design projects in the company with their respective resource allocations. It should be noted that it has functions to control the physical and financial progress of the project, the budget design and the analysis of the workload. In the not so good aspect of the program, it does not have the option to measure the productivity of machines or personnel, this being a weakness of importance. In addition, the program is expensive compared to the alternatives presented by other companies. Finally, the program can be quite complex for beginners. Considering the good and bad aspects, in general it is an excellent program.
Merlin Project is the only alternative to MS Project on the Mac. So if you are using macOS or iOS you shoult take a looke at Merlin Project from www.projectwizards.net

Microsoft Project has a lot of good features, and it's pretty easy to use. After some time though, I found it didn't quite fit all of my needs. Specifically, I wanted something that could integrate my project/task management with CRM and billing, all in one system. After some searching, I found the solution: SuiteDash. With SuiteDash, I am able to manage all of my various projects and tasks for myself and my team, in a very user-friendly menu. That part is great, but the best part is everything else that I can also do within the same dashboard, including CRM management, billing (including estimate and invoice creation/sending), and even email marketing functionality! SuiteDash has been a savior for my business, and I highly suggest any overworked business owners (like myself) check it out!

I've used MS Projects for years. I've since moved to Zoho Projects and find that I have the more robust feature set with Zoho but I think MS Projects works if you want to keep it simple and don't need the added bells and whistles of Zoho.
