I don't know why it is doing this, but Twitter has to be constantly reauthorised... Occasionally it drops out and you basically have to restart the whole program. It doesn't update your own tweets either, so if you made a spelling mistake, too bad.
While the Metro style interface looks nice (nicer than the actually Metro GUI from Microsoft IMHO), it tends to soak up large portions of your RAM. It isn't as RAM heavy as TweetDeck/Seesmic, given it has lots of leaks or overgrown silverlight.
Try it if you're shopping around, doesn't hurt to try something different.
If you like Microsoft "Metro" user interface you are going to love this. MetroTwit is currently supporting only one account, so it is suitable for individuals. It works great both under XP and 7. If you do not need powers of TweetDeck, you might want to check this out!
