    MEDIUM can only be signed into using an existing Google, Facebook, or Twitter account...so anything where one can publish stories anonymously, privately, or at LEAST not being tracked by the CIA...er...Facebook (and you know the other two are "integrated" if you've ever used more than one on the same device)...by means of a stand-alone sign in, could be a "good alternative" to Medium.
