What is Setapp?
Setapp is a unified marketplace for Mac and iPhone users to discover hand-picked, trusted apps. Users can access apps in two ways:
Setapp Membership gives unlimited access to 260+ apps — for macOS, iOS, and the web — for a flat fee. A 7-day free trial gives full library access with no limitations. Setapp Marketplace distributes individual apps and can offer subscription plans (e.g., annual vs. monthly) and a supported device limit that may differ from those the app’s developer provides directly. This way, Setapp Marketplace can offer macOS and iOS users greater flexibility and more favorable billing terms.
Every app on Setapp is Apple-notarized and manually reviewed before listing. There are no self-submissions, ads, hidden fees, or features locked behind additional paywalls.
Setapp is ISO 27001:2022-, SOC 2-, and GDPR-compliant.

Comments and Reviews
This still isn't near the EU plans for open access to downloadable apps. No one should pay the Apple fees that Apple created because Apple controls it. It's not the small developers fault, it's Apple, do not forget Apple made things harder for developers, not easier.
I like the idea. If they keep it low cost it might be successful.
