LuniNote is a notes app for people leaving Evernote. Its browser extension moves a whole Evernote account (notebooks, stacks, nested tags, saved searches and shortcuts) and only ever reads from Evernote, so your account there stays as it was. You can also import .enex files. Every move ends with a report that lists each notebook and checks every attachment against Evernote's own fingerprint, so you can see that nothing was lost.
Notes are organized the way Evernote users already know: notebooks, stacks, nested tags, shortcuts and saved searches, in three panes. Search understands Evernote's search syntax and finds words inside PDFs, scanned pages, Office files and images. You can email notes in to your own private address, clip pages with the Web Clipper, and share a note with a link. Every version of every note is kept, and you can export your whole account as ENEX, HTML, Markdown or JSON at any time.
The app is open source (AGPL-3.0) and can be self-hosted with Docker Compose. The hosted version is free during the open beta. It's stable in Chrome-based browsers such as Chrome, Edge and Brave. Firefox support and phone and desktop apps are in development.
