Lokia

Lokia is a language learning tool built around real video content. It works both as a browser extension and as a web app.

With the browser extension, you can watch YouTube videos and translate subtitles in real time by clicking on words. You can save vocabulary instantly while watching, without interrupting the video.

You can also import videos into the app to study them more deeply. This allows you to review subtitles, save words, and build your own vocabulary lists from the content.

Saved words are kept with their context and can be reviewed later using flashcards powered by a spaced repetition algorithm, helping you retain vocabulary over time.

Lokia is designed for language learners who want to use real content instead of traditional lessons, and need a simple way to extract, save, and review vocabulary from videos.
