What is Lift5x5?
Lift5x5 is a free workout app built for the 5x5 strength program that's been working since the 1960s. No gimmicks, no overthinking — just results.
The app tells you exactly what to lift each session based on your last workout, tracks your rest periods with a vibrating timer, and automatically increases weight when you hit all your reps (+5lb per session). Miss reps? Same weight next time. The app handles the math so you can focus on lifting.
The program is simple: two workouts (A and B) alternating three days a week. Workout A is Squat, Bench Press, and Barbell Row (all 5x5). Workout B is Squat, Overhead Press (5x5), and Deadlift (1x5). That's the entire program — no hidden exercises, no premium tier.
