Been using this to automate large parts of my daily work. Most of my work is done with a webbrowser so being able to automate chrome is great. I have tried imacros, selenium coding my own things with python and so on but this tool ends up being faster for most of my tasks. Now there is no great way to scrape data from the web by default but it's easy enough to just use javascript inside of Keyboard Maestro to do that.
Downside: Only works on mac :(
KM's unique strength is its UI-scripting capabilities. You can even take a screenshot of a button and make KM click on it when it finds the button on screen. This makes KM virtually omnipotent when scripting in macOS.
Used it a lot to change keyboard mapping. You can change system key like Caps lock
This powerful macro runner can do miracles.
Mission critical to all my work and life
It saved my live after Karabiner stopped woking on new macos Sierra
Very easy to use and to create macros that does everything that Automator/Applescript can do only easier. Also, very responsive. Macros execute much more quickly than Automator services/scripts.
