What is kDrive?
kDrive is a secure Swiss cloud for collaborating online and accessing your documents, photos and files on all your devices. Your data is stored exclusively in Switzerland in the heart of Europe, in environmentally-friendly data centers.
The free offer includes 15 GB storage via the etik.com page. For only 5 euros / month you can store up to 2 TB of data in a sovereign cloud that respects your privacy.
With the kDrive app, you can:

- Add any file to your kDrive
- Scan documents using the camera on your device
- Store files locally for offline access

I love infomaniak, really nice to see them expend in many services
kDrive app is a very, very good app. Very fast and reliable compared to the competition. It needs to improve, but it's very good now.
I wish I could have kept using it since it does respect privacy and have a good track record in consumer friendliness, but I got the trial and had several issues trying to sync. Some were minor annoyances like importing things from my Dropbox and having all of the files renamed in all lowercase, and some were deal-breakers like persistently refusing to sync a large handful of files to another machine. I still don't know what caused those files to not want to sync, but seeing that red "X"-shaped icon in my app bar was irritating when I kept trying over and over to fix the sync issue to no avail.
Now I'm still begrudgingly stuck with Dropbox until I find a better alternative. I'm sad because I was really hoping this would have been the one.
kDrive is an awesome service ! First, it respects your privacy and it's hosted in Switzerland. Plus, it's made by Infomaniak which has a really good track record. Second, it's quite cheap (5.95, let's say 6CHF or 6.24USD / 5.6Euro) when you see what you got for it : 2TB of storage, a whole office in the cloud (based on Only Office), a calendar, versioning and apps for Windows, MacOS, IOS, Android and Linux).
There is nothing bad to say about it. Just try by yourself and see :) !

It's an amazing alternative to gdrive or other US providers. Performances are good and it's swiss hosted.
