If you aren't scared of simple command line... Then use the pretty awesome custom script builder for the available apps. Been searching for the best way of managing apps on windows and though this lacks a method of finding already installed programs it is by far the most 'to the point' for getting and installing latest binaries available.

What is Just Install?

just-install - The stupid package installer for Windows.

Chocolatey icon Chocolatey , Ninite icon Ninite , Npackd icon Npackd are way too slow, bloated and difficult to extend. I needed a no-frills solution to install stuff on Windows machines, here it is.

Download just-install.exe and double click it. Boom! just-install is now in your %PATH%. How easy is that?

In a hurry? Here's a mnemonic link you can use to bootstrap a new machine, just type this in a browser is.gd/justinstall then double-click the downloaded file. "Is (it) Good? Just Install!".
