IPNetwork Monitor information
What is IPNetwork Monitor?
IPNetwork Monitor is network monitoring software designed to provide oversight of IT infrastructure across Windows, Linux, and other operating systems. It is a self-hosted platform that operates entirely within an organization’s infrastructure, offering full data ownership and control without relying on external cloud services. The software is suitable for monitoring network resources, servers, databases, and connected devices.
It includes over 40 monitoring methods, such as PING, TCP/UDP connectivity checks, SNMP and WMI protocols, and database monitoring for MySQL, MS SQL, and Oracle. Mail server verification is supported through IMAP, POP3, and SMTP. Network Discovery automates the detection and addition of devices, while application templates simplify deployment for operating systems, web servers, and virtual machines. Distributed monitoring allows centralized oversight of geographically dispersed networks using Remote Network Agents. Custom script monitors enable additional functionality by executing scripts locally or remotely via SSH.
The platform supports alerts and notifications through various methods, including email, SMS via modem, SNMP SET commands, and automated script execution. The reporting system provides insights into monitoring events, status trends, and historical data for analysis and compliance. The software is deployed on local hardware, ensuring network privacy and enabling operation in isolated or regulated environments.
IPNetwork Monitor includes a built-in MCP Server that lets AI agents automate routine monitoring tasks and orchestrate workflows across your environment.
