Interceptor information
What is Interceptor?
Interceptor is a local-first desktop proxy built for authorized web security testing, application debugging, and internal traffic analysis. It captures HTTP and HTTPS traffic, supports opt-in TLS interception, lets testers inspect and modify requests or responses, replay traffic, analyze APIs, track findings, and preserve evidence without sending project data to a cloud service. It includes tools for HTTP history search, annotations, Repeater workflows, controlled payload testing, passive findings, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 protocol handling, WebSocket analysis, network diagnostics, project storage, reporting, and exportable evidence. Interceptor is designed around explicit safety boundaries: TLS MITM is opt-in, CA trust is never installed automatically, and active testing features are intended to stay within authorized scope.
