It's the PERFECT alternative to Google Photos, even the design looks similar.
Works perfectly and fast, even on my average Synology NAS ❤️
Allows users to create folders for photos in any way possible without having to manually sort in a certain way
So far the best alternative to Google Photos when it comes to self-hosting.
I like it because it's opensource, the user interface and the native mobile app are very clean and.
But it lacks a few features compared to PhotoPrism or Google Photos. Like "automatic albums generation" based on the content of the photo, which would greatly improve the explorer panel and the way to rediscover old photos. And editing exif directly from the app
I know that Immich is under development and i hope these features will be implemented in the future.
