Comments and Reviews

Comment summary: Ice Menu Bar is praised for being free, open source, and feature-rich, offering efficient performance and customization. Users value its active development, unique split menu bar, and future support for notched MacBooks. However, some report issues like high CPU usage, app conflicts in the menu bar, and recent stability problems, prompting a few to switch to alternatives like Thaw. Compatibility is mainly for Sonoma and newer macOS versions.

Has a lot of cool features, but the background CPU usage for it was just too much of a trade off. Pretty much a constant 2-22% drain on an M4 Max.

I like it. You can reduce the sidebar and first of all you can keep some features without hiding everything. To conclude it's 100% free and open source !

Free and open source, actively developed. It allows a split menu bar, and has a secondary floating bar coming soon to support notch macbooks,
