Hooray, the project is alive again! As of 2025-12-13 there were 5 new releases in 2025 so far.
I checked as the original still seems broken and unmaintained despite being part of avast now... or is it because of that?

The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

One of the few, if not the only extension that clearly states it REFUSES cookies by default, and simply don't accept them if it can't be done otherwise. It's been a bit unmaintained for a year so don't expect newest websites to be covered, but it still works for many other websites ! Hopefully someone will take on the work of OhMyGuus and continue maintaining this wonderful tool :)
