      Httrack if for download of entire web pages. wget is to download individual files, only with deep command line knowledge will be able to download complete web page

      HTTrack is far easier to use and is specifically made for creating offline copies of websites and has lots of options to deal with that, especially using its GUI interface.

      RoestVrijStaal tl;dr Wget is the wrong tool for the job which HTTrack fulfils. Wget is only to download single files. HTTrack has rudimentary the same behaviour like a web browser. HTTrack parses the HTML-files of the given URLs and fetches all the assets (pictures, javascript etc) used by the HTML files.
